Please give reason why h4 is so better than alternatives.So far 1 engine has found it and the score reported is not much better than the alternatives.I am not that strong and need explanation.By the way my Novag Solo did not find h4 either.

Ok,so the aim of the move is to penetrate the black king's appearently safe position....take a close look at the bishop positioned at e3 with the idea of pushing f4 and things can get real tough for black....that's why after Petrosian's move,Spassky felt the begining of the fire works and quickly pull back his queen to d6....
Zappa saw all this on a quad after 24 minutes
