Thats not true if you also have the DGT clock that goes with it. For the record, I use the DGT Clock and Board with a Bluetooth headset to hear the move announcements and never look at the Computer screen.Lion wrote:Well,

i seem to recall that the XL clock will also display the Eval for the current move under consideration by the engine if you use Arena as the GUI
i think i tried this a few times about two years ago when Arena was programmed to interface with the DGT board
i dont recall exactly because i rarely use my DGT board and XL clock
as a dedicated ..dedicated chess computer fan.. i of course abhor hooking up anything chessic in nature to the dreaded PC.. but the board and clock were given to me as gifts one Xmas by a well meaning although misguided family relative
