Re: Kramnik blunder position
This line by Deep Shredder seems not to be best.Little bit of analysis with PF3 loaded with Hiarcs 12.1 on the position after 31.Re4 gives the improvement.AdminX wrote:Kramnik,V - Anand,V, World Chess Championship 2008 2008

29.Bxd7 Bxf3 30.gxf3 Kxd7 31.Re4 d3!! 32 Rxf4 h5! 33 Rxf6 hxg4 -+
There are alternatives to 31.Re4. But they all give a reasonable advantage to Black.
I am not sure if White can save himself with any alternative eg Nd2 seems to go down hill pretty quickly too.
I suppose some deep analsis on a Quad will give better picture of likely outcome.

Move 26 and white lost the center and so the game.Cubeman wrote:This line by Deep Shredder seems not to be best.Little bit of analysis with PF3 loaded with Hiarcs 12.1 on the position after 31.Re4 gives the improvement.AdminX wrote:Kramnik,V - Anand,V, World Chess Championship 2008 2008
