Consider this:
You are playing mighty SuperConstellation machine at level 5, which means moves are played between 1-3 minures or 1-5 minutes, I do not remember well.
The machine does not play wel lthe after- the -opening- middle game, make one or two wrong moves and as a result I get a full piece, a knight.
After that, I get overwheelming superiority in the Queen side. All my pieces are there pushing an exchange after the other or threatening mate.
And then, around move 40, I lose stamina, I becomes afraid of losing my advantage and even the game as my power of concentration dwindle by the minute.
And so, before making the crushing move that -after the game- Ryba adviced as the best but that I did not play for the reason you will see at once....I let the machine repeats movements to get a draw!!!!!

There you have it, old age at his best: you lose the handling of anything after move 40.
Master until move 40, senile and tired after that regards

You are not old just wise. Why waste time on a lost game
If behind by the move 30 i quit and start over. This way i get
in a lot more games.
