concerning igor and grandmaster:
igor is a little, cheap press sensore machine.

gm is more expensive, , huge and with magnetic board (although plastik).

both do not show information about search or score.
only when they are not at move. you can then see them, but the problem
is that this interrupts the permanent brain.

both machines can be overclocked by simply exchanging the quarz with 24 mhz quarz.

i think Fern means the same hardware
i think they are the same except of course the Igor also "talks" so there is the voice features and voice chip hardware

Seems like Igor is discontinued. I have not seen it in Excalibur site, neither in ICD.
Now I am beginning to think that is not that GM is so strong, but that me has deteriorated...
