I never tested my program seriously on many cores. Scalability of my program is probably much better than those of chess programs, but it is still far from linear. Those machines are too costly for my budget, anyway.
BTW, I'll follow the go tournament closely !

Zen go is very strong, I wish you success to catch it !
Hardware won't be enough, probably. I'll have to work hard on algorithms in order to have a chance. Also, there are rumors that Zen will run on a supercomputer. And many other programs are getting very strong. It will be very difficult.
