I don't think anyone would disagree that this is the best move, Big Bear is in agreement, and after 34 minutes, (depth 22) he replies with

Nf6

I think the game is speeding too fast :( .
I had no time to play my 3.Bc4 !

Matthias.
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.

Sorry Matthias,

I thought it would be a good idea to speed through the initial few moves, I will now wait until at least 2 people agree on a move in this early opening phase. Edmund has just chosen 0-0, would you agree with that, or do you have a different move?

0-0 is the forum move, and the Big Bear is in total agreement yet again, and responds with

4 ...Be7

Depth 24, time 1h:37m

For the first hour, Big Bear preferred the reply Nxe4, and changed it's mind at depth 23.

Hi Edmund,

You are playing against *****lito.
In my opinion, it has a style not dissimilar to Botvinnik, using computer analysis might not be enough to beat this tactical monster, it will probably need some clever anti-computer chess tactics.

The Forum move is Re1, Big Bear was not expecting this move, it preferred Nc3 by a margin of 4 centipawns. is it a good idea to reveal the evaluation score? Big Bear thinks the forum is ahead by 0.20, after 40 minutes, and a depth of 23, it responds with

5 ...d6
