There are numerous excellent books that cover this. Two that I studied and learned a great deal from are Ludek Pachman's expanded 3-volume Complete Strategy and Euwe and Kramer's The Middlegame. These are classic works that explain these concepts very well.
Note there are also excellent programs that teach chess strategy fundamentals very well. I have a very good opinion of Bartashnikov's ABC of strategy published by Chessbase, and after that I would strongly recommend Strategy 2.0 by ChessOk (but is for players 1800+).
