Game 1 was a draw with Rybka 3 playing white.

Here is the game from Toby-Tal's perspective :

Moves, eval and search of the Toby-Tal, are identical to a version of RobboLito. For me, this Toby-Tal is a another version of Robbolito only!

Perhaps you can do me(and us) a big favor and make some tests with this program.

1)Load the above position and let it run for about 1 minute and post the results.
[d]k5K1/1R6/PP5r/8/5p1P/5P2/8/8 b - - 0 1

2)Go to C:\Program files\TobyChess products\Deep Tactics 7.5\Engines and click on TobyTal.exe and tell us what is its size.

3)Perhaps you can even use UPX(http://upx.sourceforge.net/) to test if the executable is UPXed.
For example put UPX and TobyTal.exe into one folder, open UPX through CMD or something and write:
upx -l TobyTal.exe
And tell us the results.

4)Programmers can find more clever and sophisticated ways for seeing if this TobyTal is a Robbolito/Ippolit related engine.

Thanks in advance, for doing any of these....

YES! He replied.....

Under this heading "Toby Tal with Deep Tactics 7.5" I see this statement -

"TobyTal runs inside of the TobyChess program Deep Tactics as one of the engines."

Have you looked at the Deep Tactics interface and what can you tell us about it?

1. Download UPX from http://upx.sourceforge.net/
2. Go to Start->All Programs->Accessories and click on "Command Prompt"
3. Type "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Toby Chess Products\TobyTal" (no quotes)
4. Type "C:\upx\upx.exe -l TobyTal.exe" (also no quotes)
5. Tell us the result

Substitute C:\Program Files (x86)\Toby Chess Products\TobyTal with wherever you installed TobyTal and C:\upx with wherever you installed UPX.

Good luck,
Peter

Sorry , can't even figure out the 3rd step............

When I open the Command Prompt window, it automatically has :
C:\Users\Tom Glenn>

Then when I type in something , it follows all that , so it ends up :
C:\Users\Tom Glenn> cd C:\Chess Engines\ TOBY go
and I get " The system cannot find the path specified "
