Here is a name i considered using for a minimalistic engine, where nothing unnecessary is included in the implementation:

"Occam's Racer!"

It has got a fast sound to it! :)

Or simply

"Occam"

Don't know if it is appropriate for Doch though! :D

Kind regards,
Jesper

Edit:
 DOH! Didn't see that it was already sugested in another thread!

Edit2: Quick explanation of the pun. "Razor" => "Racer"
Many times I have the impression, that "if only I could remove all the CRAP code I have added to my engine, it would be really fast!".
So the more code I remove, the better the engine becomes.

He wants to get away from using his name in the engine name.
Dailyrob would help. It's not his names. But it symbolizes the moment when it appeared.
It symbolizes your stupidity in my honest opinion....
Throwing doubts over the origin of Doch is simply pathetic....

Guilty! Great book. Hiro is a great homophone for an engine.

am i the only one who thinks "Doch" is both simple and fine? it's certainly much better than the leading freeware engine name, & i don't see any contests being held there.
