rybka strikes back with a KS attack Iggy never saw coming. embarrassing. will post game upon conclusion but score is now (or will be)

+7 =10 -4 in favor of Iggorit.

rybka's crushing victory. igorrit's turn with the white pieces now, but i doubt he has as easy a time.

Nice game. I ran some of the key moves, and can only presume that Ippolit and its twins suffer from some common tactical issues due to the overly aggressive pruning, much like Shredder 8 and earlier Rybkas.

Moves like

[d]r2qrbk1/pb3pp1/1p2pn1B/4N1Q1/3p3P/3B4/PPP2PP1/2KR3R w - - 0 16

16.Rhe1!

or

[d]2r1r1k1/pb4q1/1p2pp2/3nN3/3p4/3B2Q1/PPP2PP1/2KRR3 w - - 0 22

22.Ng6!

are invisible to them.

you're certainly right about the super-pruning effect, however i think things went haywire as soon as 13. h4, which Igorrit completely failed to understand (you can see 0.00 eval after the move was made). it's not a rybka-like move, but it certainly suggests as others have said that the clones suffer the same king safety issues as rybka, perhaps even moreso.

rybka has won the last 2 decisive games, & i believe the overall score is now +2 for Igorrit. i'm about midway thru the suite and the current opening is a petroff, so i expect 2 more draws unfortunately.

overall match log since i will be temporarily aborting it by tomorrow at latest:

+5 =17 -7 in favor of Igorrit (if i counted correctly, which is a big if).
