I concur that by all means!!!!!!!
Last months was a disaster for me to follow the tournament subforum because of the high time to load the page and the ugly format. I almost preferred not to open it.

BTW another excellent proposal by me is to have a new subforum for subjects regarding Robbolito, Iggorit, Ippolit, etc. I'm not speaking about games and results, but only about matters about their legality, about their contribution to Chess, about creation of heroes, of true computer Chess legends that can't post here, etc.

CCC has been transformed lately into a place where cloned cartoons perform. :(
I know that some prefer threaded view to flat view, but have you tried flat view? I find that it makes things a lot easier.
Of course and i'm aware of the Flat-view but i can't really follow a discussion with that. How the hell should i know who responded to whom and what answer is for each person etc? It's a mess.

Lately it also prevents me from reading posts from clone-members(members who post pointlessly all kind of things about the clones). I just ignore them. With flat view i would have to read their nonsense. :?
It's actually possible to skip such posts - I use flat view, and there's simply some names which indicates that the following post is something I like to skip. Works fine when it's a habit :)

same for me
in fact i rarely use thread view
the only time i need it is if i am trying to perform a moderation task to split a post
if you use flat view the forum chess game takes up one line in the forum
http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewforu ... 045cb54e9d
to each his own i guess
