Well, don't worry about the strength of the engines. If you took 4 engines with combined scores of 1950, in the end suppose if you were able to get 2450 from them. Your points will be 2450 - 1950 = 500.
So, there's no clear indication that one set is better than other.

What are the condition of your test: cpu, os, time per move, etc.?
