Standings after Round 36 of 44

21ST AMATEUR SERIES (Division 5)

Intel Q6600 Quad Core
ChessGUI
128mb hash each
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
HS-Large Remis book (limited to 12 moves)
40 moves in 32 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 44 rounds
All engines 32-bit 1CPU
This will be the last series for Sorgenkind unless a new version come out. The top engine will likely gain automatic promotion, but there will be no automatic relegation. The second top engine and the bottom engine (perhaps others also) will play grading matches to determine which division they will play in for the next series.

That's great! What I don't understand is how NanoSzachy 3.7 is 70 ELO pts stronger than 3.8. For that matter, I hope you are talking about ver. 3.8 :)

I always use the latest public version, so that is currently NanoSzachy 3.8.
I will try to give NanoSzachy 3.7 some further games over time to better establish its strength, but there seems little doubt in my mind that it is stronger than NanoSzachy 3.8.

As for nanoSzachy, its author thinks that 3.7 was somehow overrated, and 3.8 is very similar (slightly faster + some endgame stuff).
