Yes, I obtained it from the official site and use a
real key for a Houdini though I didn't purchase it (it's not a „keygened“ key, it's a gift from a friend of mine). I like „try before you buy“ system ( but you decline it for H2.0 ) and now I must claim I will never buy a software from a man like you! Stop lying and tell all the truth to us! Why did you implement a hidden trojan into the Setup???
Shame on you, Mr. Houdart!
For your info:
- The "try before buy" system for Houdini is the freely downloadable Houdini 1.5a.
- Houdini licenses are not transferable from one person to another.
Let me also copy you the definition of a Trojan from Wikipedia:
A Trojan horse, or Trojan, is a destructive program that masquerades as an application. The software initially appears to perform a desirable function for the user prior to installation and/or execution, but (perhaps in addition to the expected function) steals information or harms the system.[1] Unlike viruses or worms, Trojan horses do not replicate themselves, but they can be just as destructive.
Houdini does not contain a Trojan, it doesn't steal any information nor harm the system.
It appears that by your definition any software relying on license activation would be a Trojan...
Robert
Robert, don't waste good time with him. He is just looking to stir something up. If he had not picked this nonsense, it would have been something else. Your first reply to him I would imagine was dead on accurate. He knows just how the system works, and he had balls or lack of good sense, but he wasn't expecting you that quick.
Also, my virus protection lets me scan any file, exe, etc. that I want to- to be safe, as many do. I check everything that comes in usually,
but I did not even bother checking yours, because you are too good and thorough. There was no point.
Got busy after you and I talked, but i did get to run 12 games @ 5 min.+3sec. between Houdini 2 v DeepSaros 23j, which is for all practical purposes 92% Ippolit
Intel, 1 cpu
32-bit
128mb hash
both Perfect 12 bk
learn and ponder off
Houdini 2- 6wins
DeepSaros- 2 wins
Drawn Games- 4
I can't imagine anything meaning less than 12/5min. blitz games, but you were here so I thought it would be nice to tell you most important- no crashes or problems in Fritz 11 gui- very stable program.
Keep in touch Robert. You are an extremely valuable friend. (It won't be 15 min. before some idiot will come along explaining to me that 12 games mean nothing. Like I woke up from a 30 year coma yesterday.)
You have my address. Any preference in head-up matches for Houdini 2- feel free to contact me. Just a liitle slow going like I told you until I get the other 2 fixed.
Take Care,
George Speight
