This list must be actualized:

Hi Silvian,

I will update that list on October 9. For now Chiron is still a private engine.

Best regards,
Ron

PS: I am enjoying all your photos.

Great news Ubaldo! :)
Are there any ratings of CCRL or CEGT?

Hello Eduard,

after my information Chiron is a private engine so far. Different older versions are included in much tourneys. Have a look on the link page by the programmer and search for more information ... tournament results.

Best for you!

Hi Eduard,

I can't speak for CEGT, but the upcoming version has not been tested by CCRL.

Cheers,
Graham.

From the web site: In addiction, you will also receive free lifetime updates.

Probably a typo, but maybe not given the chess engine addicts here. :D

Hi Maestro Ubaldo Andrea Farina !

Just now ( well , 5 ' ago via PayPal  ) I have payed for your Chiron 1.0 , but I have a question !
I have found the following text on your web page:

•support for Nalimov and Gaviota tablebases
•support for Shawul bitbases

They are some possibilities to load into RAM memory the full 5 men Scorpio egbbs (to be used in search) and to use - simultaneous - Gaviota TBS only at root ? Something like Shredder (shredderbases into RAM + Nalimov TBS at the root) . Would be nice !
I'm interested also in the smart detection of pawn blockages feature , and of course , in the x64 SMP version performance !

Thank you in advance !

Have a nice day Maestro Farina !

Just for you - here is an image with the oldest church in Iasi. Nobody knows when it was built ( at the foundation of Moldavian Principality this church existed) , nobody knows its style , its cult objects are the oldest I have ever seen.........it's Saint Sava church:

Of course you can and that's also the way I use it. It's all explained in the documentation you can find on the Support page. In particular, these are the UCI options you should look for:

Tablebases: type of endgame tablebases to use. It can be Nalimov, Gaviota or Both. Set it to Disabled if you don't wat to use tablebases.
Tb Usage: it can be Never (tablebases never probed), Only At Root (tablebases probed only at the root when on the board there are5 or less pieces) or Everywhere (tablebases probed also in the search).
Scorpio Egbb Load Type: type of bitbases loading in RAM at program startup. It can be LOAD_NONE if you don't want to load bitbases in RAM at all, LOAD_4MEN to load all the 4 pieces bitbases, SMART_LOAD to load the most used and LOAD_5MEN to load all the 5 pieces bitbases (about 225MB)
I'm interested also in the smart detection of pawn blockages feature , and of course , in the x64 SMP version performance !
From my tests, Chiron with 4 threads is about 100 Elo points stronger than the single core version. You have to find the right value for the Minimum Split Depth on your hardware. I hope to improve the parallel speedup with 8 ore more threads in the next versions.
Have a nice day Maestro Farina !
You too.

Hello, I read that your engine supports large pages but I didn't find among the uci options on the support page, an option to turn them off. Is it possible to disable them? Thanks
