After improving the Win/XBoard protocol handling in Chess for Android, I redid the tournament between the same XBoard engines (except replacing the built-in engine of Chess for Android with the UCI engine BikJump). The results are a bit different, as can be seen below. I am happy to report that now no protocol errors occurred during this tournament. Some engines took longer than the assigned 1 second per move though, which is why I plan to add clocks soon.

Hi Aart,

I compiled Android versions (UCI and XBoard) of my engine TJchess. I don't have an Android device, but they work under Chess For Android using the Android SDK tools / emulator.

Thanks Tony! Both the UCI as well as the XBoard engine work well in Chess for Android! You can find some screenshots on my blog.
