I adapted the tables again, so it should work now.
Maybe it is wise to give the server a fixed IP-address, otherwise it will happen again. Most DHCP servers have an option to associate a certain MAC-address with a certain IP-address.

Last two rounds had to be paired by hand, because mamer made a mess of it. So they had to be played as 3 rounds really.Hence the messy result diagram; the numbers reflect the ranking after 7 games.

Bad luck for Chiron with the bug which caused it two losses, but nevertheless a superb performance by Gaviota ! Second equal last month - which on a tie break calculation was probably really second - and a win this month ! :D

Yes, Gaviota had a good tournament. Miguel has made a lot of progress lately.

As usual, tournaments are a good opportunity for bugs to show themselves. I've only looked at the first three games of the Baron in detail and in them were two bugs.
The first was disabling the book after playing the first game (so no book was used in the game against Rookie, fortunately the Baron still managed to win that game). Easily fixed for the remaining rounds.
The next bug had to do with bitbases (so I disabled them after the third game) when the Baron lost a drawn ending against Gaviota (initially showing a draw score for a losing move, then a winning score in a losing position, and then finally recognizing it blew it). I'm still looking for the cause of that. Somehow it only shows up in some builds where I've used pgo, but not in all.
Of course, blaming pgo is easy enough but in my own experience there is usually a dormant bug somewhere that allows this to happen. I still haven't found it though.
Richard.
