Thanks for your replies George.
I have used PP's mostly. They seem to work the best for me.
Best,

Re: Strongest version of IvanHoe???
As a quick follow-up, I ran my compile of Fire 2.2 xTreme against IvanHoe 50kQ x64.
Engine Score Fi Iv S-B
1: Fire_2-2_xTreme_64bit 13.0/24 ························ 1000========1101101===1= 143.00
2: IvanHoe 50kQ x64 SSE4.2 11.0/24 0111========0010010===0= ························ 143.00
24 games played / Tournament is finished
Name of the tournament: RobboTournament21
Site/ Country: DMITRI-ASUS, United States
Level: Tournament Game in 20 Minutes
Hardware: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz with 5.9 GB Memory
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional Professional Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) 64 bit
An earlier match against IvanHoe 999946h (CCRL ELO 3129) produced a similar outcome, which I published in another thread:
Engine Score Fi Iv S-B
1: Fire_2-2_xTreme_64bit 12.5/24 ························ ===1==011===100==11==0=0 143.75
2: IvanHoe999946h 11.5/24 ===0==100===011==00==1=1 ························ 143.75
24 games played / Tournament is finished
Name of the tournament: RobboTournament12
Site/ Country: DMITRI-ASUS, United States
Level: Tournament Game in 20 Minutes
Such limited testing is by no means conclusive, yet it seems that having so many versions and compiles of IvanHoe is mostly a nuisance. Trying different compilers and optimization options is unlikely to buy an engine many ELO points as compared to improvements in the code.

Within official or semiofficial lists, say, do not know,Gusev wrote: Trying different compilers and optimization options is unlikely to buy an engine many ELO points as compared to improvements in the code.
It supports, see CCRL which I suggest as the official download (am I wrong).
Curiously against Strelka, is that George has chosen.
