Awful performance by DiscoCheck :cry:
Theory and practice sometimes clash. And when that happens, theory loses. Every single time.

Thanks a lot for running this tournament. CC would be a lot less fun without people like you devoting all their time and energy running rating lists.

The competition was strong....
I expected the GNU to come out somewhere in the middle and it did.

I expected the GNU to come out somewhere in the middle and it did.
Your fork off GNU Chess 5.07 is clearly the best one by a margin.

By the way, what happens to the GNU folks ? They took Fruit 2.1 (or it was initiated by Fabien?) added the usual GNU cruft, and that's all ? Last time I looked there was no real modification to the Fruit 2.1 code in GNU Chess 6. Have they finally found competent developpers to improve it ? I think they should seriously consider forgetting this fiasco and endorsing your version as the official GNU Chess 6...
