Here are a few comments I sent to Graham about this opening:

Evaluation of this is not clear. Many books recommend 6. .. c5 but correspondence players seem to have mostly abandoned this. 6. .. Nc6 was played by Morozevich I think and is recently popular. 6…Bxg5 7.hxg5 Qxg5 is a main line and very tricky. The modern line here is 8. Qd3 but 8. Nf3 and 8. Nh3 used to be popular. 6. .. h6 and 6. .. O-O are also known.

If I remember correctly, according to french defence expert Vlado Kovacevic, 6. ...h6 is dangerous for black. 6. ... O-O should be good for players with strong nerves. However, these estimates were made before the mass use of computers. :wink:
