If you install the 32-bit version of DF14 then you may be able to. I haven't tried. THAT is a serious problem for me now.
I agree that the inability to run DF14 64-bit in earlier versions of the Fritz GUI is annoying. Personally I have no use for the features introduced after GUI v.11 and that is still my choice for engine matches. It works for all 64-bit engines I use except DF14.
