They test only at 40/2 hr time control and have been testing for years now. It is the only list that I can see past computers, software, PDAs being rated. They may not be able to test the latest versions but the way they run the games gives me confidence. Kudos to all of them.
While I agree, I'd like to see smartphones added. PDAs are genuinely useless since no one uses them nor even knows how they scale with today's mobiles. I have a working Dell Axim X50v still, a lovely machine except it is quite pointless compared to my smartphone.
I think Lars is quite correct to not try to compete with CEGT and CCRL on the same things, since that would be pointless. He tests different things, which is quite useful. I like the Resurrection testing, but would love to see some smartphones, like an iPhone and Android.

While I agree with the Resurrection part I don't see any point in Smartphones. The time they need to get a propper rating for a phone you cant buy it anymore or at least it is that outdated that you don't want to buy it ...

That's really not true, and in any case, the engines remain proportionately the same. If the new phone is 30% stronger than last year's, I'll get 20 Elo improvement? Engines on the same phone will lose the same as before. You don't stop testing PC programs because there are faster CPUs do you?
