Thanks Lonnie! Most ads are stopped by the Hosts file, especially the nasty ones. I could get an extra Ad blocker but relying on Hosts file seems simpler. This one seems to have a shortened web address so there Hosts file does not work probably. Or the address is not in there yet. Can put it in there myself, that is another advantage, any address can be added. But no sources probably? It is not against the GPL to ask for a donation, but if it is Stockfish based they have to make sources available.
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Re: Raubfish illegal download

It is a SF ripoff w/o sources.
(no sources for all versions are to find)
I cannot load it on my 2009 64bit machine to easily see the uci options.
But the exe contains e.g. all that strings in that order around 'uciok'
given below.

BTW I bet the given 'authors' are also just anonymous pseudonyms.
(Stupid ME262 version name included - for the warheads...)

Moreover it is a bad habit from certain sites to reupload available free programs to other sites and then add an advertisement site you need to
go through for creating some invest for the reuploader on otherwise free downloads from the original authors/sites.

Whatever Raubfisch is, the link takes you to a web page that requires you to pay for it. If it is based on Stockfish, this is against it's distribution rules.
I tried to find another link (maybe the authors website) but I failed to find one.

Indeed the chessengines.blogspot.de website seems a bit dubious at first glance.
