hello syzygy, thx for your response :-)

...no, in the pos from above SF shows correctly Kc5 as the only drawing move and shows -153 or so for all other moves ProbeLimit was set on default (7)
the problem is that it stops analysing after about 5 sec without making a move...this is by far not the only pos where SF behaves like this...practically all endgames produce this bug, eg:
8/8/4b1p1/2Bp3p/5P1P/1pK1Pk2/8/8 b - - 0 1
here SF stops thinking after less than 1 sec and plays no move, CPU-usage: 0 %

but if i set ProbeLimit to 5 or 0 eg there will be no issues at all...
so id assume it has sth to do with incomplete TB-sets !??
any idea ?

My guess is that you have a corrupt 7-men TB. Did you check md5sums?

hi syzygy...i feel bad about this and especially that you did not forget me...!!!
i dont know where the problem is exactely but i "NOW"( 3 days ago) managed to remove a .rtw file that was biggger than 1.3 GB or so from the my TB-folder and there is no problem anymore...it seems that this file has n
been corrupted by a "usb-stick" transfere while it was fat32 formated and the file was to big to tranfere , idk ...the file seems currupted and the problem that was brought to earth was mine by making sth wrong !!?...i have NOW abbonded this file (KRBPvKQ.rtbw) from my syzgy folder and everything works perfectely since 3 days....still unsure why YOUR cfish handles this well but SF doesnt but it ok, thats the fact!!!....sry to make u think , its probably as easy as that, but why cfish has no probs but SF has.....idk...thank you always for your responese Ron....i cant remember better things like that...im sry to steel your time, thats not good :-(
