Sorry to ask. When installing the drivers for my graphics card for the first time, I have to install the normal drivers or some other drivers (nVidia).

Windows 8 or newer will automatically install GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, nVidia).Krzysztof Grzelak wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 5:17 pm Sorry to ask. When installing the drivers for my graphics card for the first time, I have to install the normal drivers or some other drivers (nVidia).
These drivers are not the latest drivers.
Demanding gamers try to update nVidia drivers to the latest available (new releases can occur few times a month), as they introduce more features, bugfixes, game compatibilities, new GPU releases etc
Latest nVidia now is 496.49 released on 2021.10.26. It enables some new feautures (like Deep learning super sampling = DLSS) for some fresh game titles.
If you don't care about gaming, you can stay with driver provided by Windows.

Thank you for your answer yurikvelo. I don't have time for games, I just bought one for chess. My graphics card is ASUS GeForce TUF RTX 3080Ti Gaming 12GB GDDR6X. That's why I asked the drivers.yurikvelo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 11:57 amWindows 8 or newer will automatically install GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, nVidia).Krzysztof Grzelak wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 5:17 pm Sorry to ask. Huge request to yurikvelo. Can you help me set the parameters in LcO? For the graphics card I bought.
