I was surprised by the poor performance of Koivisto (21.5 /44) at Leauge 1.
Koivisto had a bug that was introduced here and was fixed here. So the buggy version played at TCEC.
The bug wasn't discovered in early testing cause it is only triggered with multiple threads.

Thanks Andreas for information.
RubiChess has been finishing League 1 in the Top 4 for the last 3 seasons. I hope we will see RubiChess in the Premier Division at the next TCEC tournament

Nothing new. Currently Stockfish is leading CCC and TCEC. But were is Koivisto? In Pohl list it is near position 3!
Many of the top engines are progressing quite quickly. You can’t look at a rating list and expect it to be predictive of the newest versions in CCC and TCEC.
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

Koivisto introduced a major bug with the implementation of MultiPV. This led to a performance degradation of about 100-150 Elo at TCEC level. Koivisto simply had an unfortunate bug at an unfortunate timing which caused it to badly underperform at this TCEC.
