Without going into detail. Why are you provoking me? Why are you bullying? Because of people like you (thanks for that knowledge now :P) , I now go a different way. With you and your kind one has to go other ways. Naggers like you without your own works are only out to destroy. That's unfortunate, but it is what it is. :(

Engine has no BUG! Some have played with it for many hours. Me too. The player used AVX2 version and it has no BUG. The only losses in this way were produced by this one player, and only in the two tournament games. There were no other crashes on other computers. I play hundreds and more games with it. Why don't I have a crash? Other testers didn't have a crash either. Where there is nothing, I cannot improve anything. I've been playing with it for weeks and thousands of games without any crashes (same avx2 version)! In the future, the engine will be private from now on anyway. There won't be any problems. By the way, the learning file is not from Dark Sister but from MZ. However, I'll be implementing a new learning file soon, and the engine will go straight to Stockfish dev. be constructed. Otherwise there will be no other code in it. However, the engine will only remain private. I'm just saying this now so no one will think that the next version of my engine will be built on the same code and learning as v2.

About Dark Sister: 5 people are currently playing with it on PlayChess and none of them have crashed. My Engine v2 differs significantly from Dark Sister. Anyone who can read the code (search.cpp and the other codes) can easily determine this.

Hello Edouard,

I have not had the pleasure of testing your program because my attention has only been aroused after this incident.

But I understand how you feel, creating or adapting a program according to your wishes is hard work.

Many times people ignore what is involved and criticize because it is easier than creating.

It is a too frequent outcome, and it should not be like that.

In short, don't let it affect you too much and keep enjoying chess.

By the way, I also started to play chess in 1972 with the confrontation between Fischer and Spassky, it left a great impression on me.

The proof is that 50 years later I am reading this forum and playing against the computer.

I encourage you to continue your work.

Damir,
I don't understand why you mention Hypnos in the same breath as Dark Sister? Do you know the engine? MZ is a friend of mine and I've played thousands of games with both StockfishMZ and Hypnos and - I haven't had a single crash so far.

I enjoy playing prize tournaments and freestyle on InfinityChess. On June 22 there was a very interesting engine tournament. White had a +0.80 advantage in each allowed variants (Stockfish 15). During my preparation and my analyzes with several weeks of meticulous work on the book (yes, that's how I do it) I had to decide which engine I should use. At the time, I liked the BlueMarlin 15.1 engine from dorsz the best.

I then considered whether I could also succeed in changing the Stockfish code according to my wishes? Stockfish is hard to improve, but you can change the style.

My role model is the Engine Blue Marlin. His active style best suits the new tournaments on InfinityChess. So now I'm trying to change Stockfish for myself in such a way that I enjoy the engine the most.

Hi Eduard

No offense to your engine, but you should give credit to Khalid mostly and MZ.

Here is what Khalid wrote in my private message:

Maybe he based the code on Hypnos .. not sure, because I can see some code I gave to Marco present in Solista also

Khalid, 19:37
Yes definitely based on Hypnos or SugaR, I can see more of my code present in the engine!

The code is based on an old version of Hypnos or SugaR, so it is hard to compare with SF... I see the author added some UCI options like BruteForce and Variety among other things

The code related to BruteForce is useless in my opinion

I lost interest in checking the rest of the files :(

Khalid, 19:42
I really REALLY hope someone will actually create a good engine from SF, or new engine completely. These useless derivatives are just waste of time

Waste of time, that's funny haha.

Khalid shouldn't just watch this learning file. I think learning files are useless on fast computers.
Useless learning entries that limit the horizon of a fast PC, and the learning code also influences the evaluation of newer engines, which I don't want to see. NNUE has made these codes obsolete. The only benefit for me is that I can use the learning file for a slow PC because the slow PC can access assessments from a different calculation depth.

To Eman: I can argue just like him. A useless Stockfish clone. Where is Eman better than Stockfish? In which discipline? I do not see it. In test positions, fewer and fewer positions are solved.

By a friend, the following results are achieved. Stockfish Test Suite 2021.cbh, on 126 Threads:

Solista C 1-avx2 private Engine (Use MNUE EvalFile = nn-ad9b42354671.nnue - Windows 11 Pro 21H2)
189 out 238 = 79.4%.

Solista Attack v2-avx2:
180 out 238 = 75.6%

EMAN 8.40 64-bit:
154 out 238 = 64.7%

ShashChess 24 Gold Digger:
192 out 238 = 80.6%

Kookaburra v1.00 AVX2:
161 out 238 = 67.6%

Stockfish 081022:
158 out 238 = 66.3%.

My engine is a gaming engine, and without gold digger, etc...
Then why is it better than Stockfish or Eman? Must be a good clone when solving 180 and 189 positions! I am happy.
