The top 3 move evals were all the same from depth 52 to depth 76. There were 819,495 TB hits to the full set of 3, 4 and 5-man Syzygy EGTB.

There was not any single output in the following 50 minutes, where SF 16 was searching 95.- ..., Kg7 all the time. I stopped the analysis and... surprise!

There is a fail low with 3,597,561 TB hits. Depth 77 of my run was critical and looks like it would finally agree on Crystal eval of 95.- ..., Kg7.

Congratulations for your good analysis, Jouni. :-)

Analysis by Crystal 6 PMT:

1. +/- (0.90): 95...Kf7 ...
2. +/- (0.90): 95...Kf8 ...
3. +- (2.85): 95...Kg7 ...
4. +- (2.97): 95...Kh8 ...
But how are you interpreting this? As indication Kf7 and Kf8 both draw?

I already wrote about this rather good test position here

and in following posting, when Dietrich brought the game to CSS at first place.

Collected some interactive lines togehter with a game of SF playing out on its own with 30 threads at 25'+15" after 95...Kf7 (pity that's not a single best move game changer, ...Kf8 is quite as good as for holding opposition with King against King and thus the fortress):

That just to see, how many moves SF takes getting the evals near to 0.00, if there's no blundering like in original game, simply holding the opposition preventing White's King from passing the black pawns.
Regard SF's evals are stored only from there onwards, where it's selfplay- game was restarted once in- between, so they got deleted from 95...Kf7 till restart by GUI at 127.

Pity even Crystal takes quite some moves forward to get evals as low as they should be, here it is with 30 threads of 16x3.5GHz and 32G hash after some Forward- Backward in depth 53/165 with MultiPV=4

Problem might be also, 50- moves- count can be reset several times by pawn- moves from White. What's missing also, would be a hard coded eval of Blindfold Bishop once in a while again, regards

Crystal 6 didn't need any Forward- Backward. With 6 cores after 1 minute sees losing moves.

I see, Jouni, Crystal 7 is at about that height of MultiPV- output- evals started with empty hash soon too, what I wanted to show was the relation of evals after Forward- Backward between the two drawing and the two losing moves.
Perfect engine should give 0.00 for 95...Kf7 and 95...Kf8 as well, at least after some Forward- Backward, but even better started with empty hash also, don't you think so too?
