I have recompiled both versions XXII and XXV. In version XXII, learning was activated by default. I have deactivated this. In addition, Phalanx can now also read its opening books under Chess for Android. This is done as follows, simply copy the two books pbook.phalanx and sbook.phalanx into the following directory (simply create non-existent directories):

Thanks for the hint. It seems that PlentyChess has never worked on Android. I have deleted the two files (zip and apk file).
