the purpose of the game was to stir up some interest for a forum match and do try to cover different aspects of correspondence play
the way things have developed i simply lost all interest in the Practice game and for me personally all interest in the match( if it even takes place)
having said that..the only right thing to do was resign ..so i did
Steve

I hadn't been clear what this game was about. I think it is obvious that any dedicated should be vs brains and not vs rybkas and the like.
wel there still seems to be some interest in completing this game
if there is still some interest i can continue to play
i still have the position set up on my trusty Tasc with a move ready to go
no Captains or official teams..just the overall CCC membership voting
after 4-5 votes come in if there is a consensus i would consider that as the move
sound reasonable?
Steve
Well you have to do something to improve the situation.

You are after all the one who ran away.

It's all about "image" Steve.

I am a member in the CCC not a mod. You seem to have "mod" on the brain.

No one is trolling.....it is just quite amusing how suddenly you want to play again. Did your PR tell you that? If so they are worth the money.

We all were playing. It is you who resigned when you did not like something that was unrelated to this game.

Yes..............We can continue to beat your machine. Just so long as you don't change the rules (again) which is what you seem to be doing.

So you want to change the rules (again). You are a scream. Now you say you are going to pick a move when you feel like it. Some people can only come at certain times.

If you want to play chess like this organise CCC v CTF. This thread is way too long. You might even redeem yourself.

if anyone wants to play without structured teams and Captains i would be happy to continue
i saw some interest in playing the game out and i thought i would offer to play on for the sake of playing on in an interesting position
if there is any interest just let me know here

You mean you want to play if they play by your rules that you have changed midway through the game.

I said.....
Yes..............We can continue to beat your machine
.....but only if you do not change the original rules.

You are not really in a position to negotiate when it is you who left people in the lurch in this game.

this all reminds me on a song by the Bay City Rollers from 1977:
It's a game

The clown came down to meet me
with a smile upon his face,
He fired the starting pistol and
began the human race
There were faces all around me
they were running everywhere
But everywhere is nowhere
And nowhere isn't there.

CHORUS
It's a game a game, a game that we're playing
But I don't mind but I don't make the rules
It's a game, a game, a game that we're playing
Just a game for lovers and fools

Well there's snakes upon your ladder
and there's dice upon your skirt
There's lipstick on my collar
And there's sweat upon my shirt
the neighbors will start talking but
you know that I don't care
For the neighbors, they are nowhere
and nowhere isn't there.

CHORUS
It's a game a game, a game that we're playing
But I don't mind but I don't make the rules
It's a game, a game, a game that we're playing
Just a game for lovers and fools

Guys... its a game. not war.
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....
