Qe2+ and get the b pawn.
Come one Anand...
Edit: Anand play Qe5, that wins the knight.
It is 2:30 Am now.

They're playing all the right moves, according to the chess engines, but I don't understand any of them? Why was Kh7 the right move?

Re: Topalov vs Anand Game 12
Many moves are now winning for black. What gets the relatively highest of several high evaluations for engines is not always best for human play. Kh7 may have the idea of forcing white to move, and also to avoid a check by the knight. Other moves were probably of same value.rlsuth wrote:They're playing all the right moves, according to the chess engines, but I don't understand any of them? Why was Kh7 the right move?

Too bad Vishy missed the decisive Qf3 (Kh2 Qf2+; Kh4 Qe4+ Kxh5 Qe5+ K-any Qd4+)VP wrote:[d] 8/6k1/1R5N/p6p/P1p1q3/6PK/1P6/8 w - - 0 53
Not allowing Topa access to his h pawn

The rook and knight are ineffective against the Black Queen in current position
