Good morning Jim,
very strong is Invictus by Edsel Apostol, Philippines.
https://github.com/ed-apostol/InvictusChess
Version r382 is now 4 years old and I am sure you can make Invictus clearly faster.
That would be wonderful.
Best
Frank

Re: New J.A Compiles
Hi Jim,
the last Invictus sources on GitHub are newer as the last official Invictus version!
Thank you again!
A small gift 4 years later
I am looking in Mida ... your compiles from the last year!
Wow, also clearly faster (more as double speed) as the official Mida 2.3.1 (program from Italy by Giacomo Porpiglia).
If I search in your directory I always find a surprise!!
The very strong "older" engines are allways a topic for me.
Marco Belli and his Vajolet2.
A very strong engine with syzygy support, also Italy.
I don't dare ask anymore ...
But this engine is must have for testing others!
If you have again time for it ...
https://github.com/elcabesa/vajolet
https://vajoletchess.blogspot.com/
The last official version is Vajolet2 2.8.0 (HCE).
That would be wonderful if a faster compile from Vajolet2 is available for us.
Best
Frank

Hi Jim. Your Reckless compiles don't run under Fritz GUI. "Engine caused an exception". Official compiles run nice.

Re: New J.A Compiles
Possibly because the official exes were re-released to fix a tablebase initialisation problem (AVX512 instructions contained in the AVX2 exe), and Jim compiled the original code.
