...Qa5 is ok I guess...and if Bd2 maybe ...Qb6. Its unfortunate black has been trading all his pieces into a bad endgame, but at this point I doubt ...Be7 will be the beginning of some great attack.

Why exchange queens?

If you think White prefers his bishop on d2, then black is better to play Qc7 without a check first. (Or something else)

I don't like Qa5 we are heading for an endgame with a pawn less.

Mr Taylor if Qa5+, Bd2, Qc7, 0-0-0, what is the plan of attack we still need to move our black bishop. We do not have enough pieces to mount an attack, just the queen.

What about Bd5? it prevents long castle for a moment at least

Qc7 developes Queen, protects pawn on a7, pressures two of whites pawns, and also leaves options still open which side to get the black squared bishop out. Also prepares QR developement and possible doubling. What more? (unless there is a tactical problem).

Qc7 seems sound, leave our options open. Qb8 seems nice too, but I'll go for Qc7

I like Be7 here, or even g6 or d6. Our dark squared bishop needs some more options...
