Krzysztof, that's what I did, just as I told you. The difference is your GPU as for my personal pov, probably it isn't supported, that it doesn't work for NNUE only is an even bigger pity, maybe avx2 isn't supported by your CPU neither?
As for NNUE- installation only, I can't help at all, this one I didn't even try by myself regards

For this I bought a graphics card Asus 3080 Ti.

The Ryzen should work as for NNUE at least, the 3080ti could yet need the TensorRT 7.2 as well as my 3070ti did and then work with NN too, which would be of much better performance, I guess.
At this one PC with this one GPU you could give it a try with

D:\Scorpio\install.bat --trt 72

(take care for the exact syntax as for spaces and slashes)
yet too one more time again.

I think he is talking about downloading TensorRT 8.2 himself.

Krzysztof Grzelak, you are making this unnecessarily complicated by doing stuff that the INSTALL.md doesn't tell you to do,
or explcitly tells you not to do! It says download only install.bat, so what are you doing here?

I don't know if it is your lack of command line skills or something, it sure is not the fault of installation steps

I repeat the three simple steps again

a) Download install.bat and put it in a directory you want scorpio installed, for example

D:/Scorpio

b) Since you have a 3080 gpu you need to pass options to install.bat, so you can't just double click it.
You have to execute installation from command line, don't double click

First change into the scorpio directory

cd D:/Scorpio

Then from this directory execute

Code: Select all

install.bat --trt 72

That should install scorpio and show you an analysis on the start position when it is successful.

c) Use "scorpio.exe" located under Scorpio/bin/Windows directory as the engine in your favourite GUI.

So that is it and the steps are pretty simple. It either works or doesn't.

If you can't get this to work, i think you should just move on because I am pretty sure for the time you spent
trying to get this working, the engine strength will disappoint you.
