i thought this was an interesting comment so i fired up that 2700 PC engine i own ..(the one which i have played all of the R odds games against) and gave White the R back on a1lkaufman wrote:

and yet the engine (after 3 minutes of pondering) considers White ahead returning an eval of +.43
removing the R and restoring the position to the current position.. it considers Black Ahead by 5.72 ..pretty much the R White gave as odds
