Why are you using this rude language while you can show the bug and ask Mr. Manzo to fix it? Does he have to release an engine for your requirements? Do you have to use it? If you don't like the engine, then don't use it, but don't come here attacking people's skills.

Re: ShashChess
TC 3'+1", UHO 6mvs 110-119cp, ShashChess 34.4 with 2 threads default (MCTS off) against same version with 1 thread MCTS ouf of 2 CPU- threads, Cutechess- GUI was running 15 concurrencies, 16x3.5GHz Ryzen, bmi2- compile:
Score of ShashChess34.4 vs ShashChess34.4M: 128 - 83 - 289 [0.545]
Elo difference: 31.4 +/- 19.7, LOS: 99.9 %, DrawRatio: 57.8 %
500 of 500 games finished.
Games can be sent by email, no crash nor disconnection nor time- loss, so I'd say ShashChess 34.4 runs stable in Cutechess GUI with and without MCTS- usage, performance of 2 threads A-B against 2 threads with one of them MCTS was to be expected higher in STC head to head match, guess better results for MCTS could arise from proportions of e.g. 2 out of 8 or 6 out of 30, regards

+1
And this forum was created specifically so that programmers and other posters could be shielded from these attacks, by moderators intervening in such cases...
But that was long ago.

The mods are not supposed to read each and every thread. They rely on members to use the "report" button, the big exclamation mark to the left of the reply button. If members instead choose to complain within the thread, then obviously nothing happens.

Yes but that's another case, I don't want to shut anyone down or delete anyone's message. I want them to understand what is right and what is wrong, without punishment.

There's a lot more than just the network that's identical to StockfishModern Times wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 6:41 am A question on the embedded NNUE - is that identical to that in Stockfish ?

Sure - it is a fully GPL compliant Stockfish derivative or fork.connor_mcmonigle wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 7:53 amThere's a lot more than just the network that's identical to StockfishModern Times wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 6:41 am A question on the embedded NNUE - is that identical to that in Stockfish ?
