Hallo,
start with 1.d6 and win the queen ending.
The plack pawns are prey to the white king and in the end
black has no checks and looses.
Kind regards
Bernhard

Re: simple? pawn ending
I just rechecked my old analysis to confirm that the position is not a draw. The way to win starts:Werner wrote:Hi,
I did a longer evaluation with Deep Shredder 10 and after both engines had a queen the evaluation droppes down.
Maybe this is a draw position? Or can you show me please the way to win?
1.d6!! Kc8 2.Kf5 h3 3.Ke6 h2 4.d7+ Kb7 5.d8=Q h1=Q 6.Qc7+ Ka6 7.b7
[d] 8/1PQ5/k1p1K3/6p1/6P1/8/8/7q b - -
At this point Black has a lot of different checks, and so it takes a bit of maneuvering to demonstrate the win depending on what Black does, but the basic strategy for White is:
1) If not in check play b8=Q
2) If in check:
2a) first head over to the g5 pawn and capture it
2b) once the g5 pawn is gone head the king towards a8 to escape the checks.
The position is almost a perpetual (but not quite) so some engines will have trouble. The winning lines are quite deep so engines will not tend to show a winning score for quite a while. It will a great deal if you have the KQQKQP and KQPKQP tablebases.
