The Chiron author told me recently that he is retiring from computer chess.
I asked him if he would consider making Chiron publicly available if that was the case and he said that he probably would.

Deception is certainly possible, but Chiron and Bright are rather well tested by most winboard/UCI gurus. So far they havent found anything similar between them and an open source engine, neither have I.
