In Fact

1/ Tony was righ when He said Zappa Gained more speedup from the 64 version than Naum Smp 64

2/ Ernest Was right when He said zappa Mexico 64 is more than 40 % faster than the 32 Bits version. My kn/s almost double from 32 bits to version 64 bits

You mean : You are right Ernest...

But watch out, Tony (the man with 6647 posts) may feel "insulted"
No

He means exactly what he says:

Tony said:
"Naum only get a 5-10% speed up from 64bit, Zappa on the other hand gets about 40%." and Tony's idea is right because Zappa earns clearly more than naum.

You stick to unimportant details.
It is clear that tony does not use zappa 64 bit and only gave a guess.

Uri
Thanks Uri for explaining it to him. I am not exactly a short fuse, but I dont have your style of calmness either.

Uri, you are a fast reader, but sometimes too fast.

My first intervention in this thread was:
Yes, but it seems the tournament is only 32-bit.
Zappa scales much better than Naum in 32 --> 64-bit."
to which Daniel pointedly replied:
Right Zappa Mexico should be even better on 64 bits
of course Naum should be better on 64 bits too.
I will test both on 64 bits this week , I just got a new Window vista ultimate 64 bits"
Then Tony felt obliged to intervene (what else, for somebody who is averaging 11.34 posts/day):
Naum only get a 5-10% speed up from 64bit, Zappa on the other hand gets about 40%.
I just meant to stress that Zappa (and Rybka), from my own experience, get a much better speed-up than 40%.
This is indeed the remarkable advantage of bitboards and 64-bit processor and OS.

I don' t deny that Tony "brings some life" to this Forum, but it's always better to speak from experience than from hearsay...

Have you ever consider the possibility that I did not see your post until you started going ballistic?

On a scale of 1 to 10, I wonder, how important you think that this place is?

We are not talking life or death here or how to save the human race.

So, I think that Tony's generalization was close enough for this place.

If we were talking neurosurgery or space travel, then I think that Tony would be more precise in what he post! 8-)

I did not see his post until he started acting weird for no reason. If I had indeed seen his post, I wouldnt have made any comments.
