Bear in mind that the native 8 Core will only be for 4P+ sockets. Expect a >$2000 price tag only for the CPU. Same as today with Tigerton. It also comes much later (Q4 2009 if lucky). Probably have to wait till 32nm shrink to get it for desktops.
And this time it is designed by the Israeli design team, so it will probably work!
Nope. Nehalem is designed Intel by Oregon. Israeli design team is working on it's successor - 2010 32nm Sandy Bridge (Formely Gesher).

Very nice build. Good parts. Now just get another 2Gb RAM stick to run in Dual-Channel. Helps alot.

You can get 3.6 Ghz easy with a good aircooler and maybe an extra 200-300 MHz more depending on your luck with quality water cooling. For little more than $159.99 MSRP Swiftech's H20-220 Compact is an excellent choice with really easy installation.

Here's a review with Intel's Q6600 at 4 Ghz with the H20-220 Compact:

You could also build a liquid system by yourself with different parts. It will perform better but will cost a little more and with extra installation time.

But all in all a very nice setup. And those quads a really easy to OC for extra performance.
