What is your configuration? I have a PowerBook G3/500 Firewire (Pismo), running Mac OS 10.3.9. There are only 4 engines installed in Sigma Chess. Perhaps I'll update Sigma to the latest version and try it again.

Thanks for pointing this bug out. Already fixed.

Furthermore the new binaries (at least the 32-bit version) should also run on older Macs now. By default gcc on Leopard seems to create a binary only for the platform it's running on.

Well, by default gcc on Leopard seems to create a binary for the system it's running on only unless it's told otherwise. If the file won't run in the terminal there is no way to make it work under Sigma Chess.

But I recompiled the code again and the 32-bit version should run even on Puma now.

That solved it. The engine now runs in Panther in the terminal, and can also be loaded into Sigma. Thank you.
