The winboard forum was a great place and I will deeply regret its probable disappearance.

Wael, you are a short fuse, dont play innocent now..I have disagreed with some of the restricitions in the past at the winboard forum, but having a strictly controlled forum has its own benefits.

Yes,I am a short fuse,but banning a member for life and forbbiding him from practising his hobby in our small community is not correct to say the least....
I e-mailed Volker at the time showing my good intentions to join the forum again and respecting the rules,but....
BTW,the restrictions that you mention were mainly made by a guy who was known as Mr.Perfect,no need to mention his name....

I still remember the scenerio that caused you to get banned. I didnt think you deserved a ban, simply deleting the posts would have been better. I am simply saying that if you run a place like the way you wanted and if I dont agree with you, I pretty much have an option to walk away.

Back there,I wrote something that hadn't the magnittude one to be banned for a week even,not to mention a life time ban....

BTW,you do read here how many people were kicked out without an obvious reason,so,there is something wrong after all....

They have even put keyword ban in registration forms in sign up pages, that is for example the software would automatically ban someone who tries to register under the name, for say, "Rohan", just because they had banned someone else with that name before. Weird.

They look desperately for traffic by posting into other forums by putting in some opinion about CCC and supporting their club and inviting others to go over there, but only engine release news have been posted so far in most of the threads in gap of what seems like months between each topic.

Obviously, I was referring to the admin, not the members. I can't talk about quality when there are hardly any posts other than engine release news. Honest opinion. So Sorry but we agree to disagree here, and we do agree on so many topics, but not this one
