Swami, I believe that in your tournament now play some programs (mp) with 4 processors and others 1. Such the possibility of playing with ponder = on for all engines and 2 processors for those who can?
Hi Pedro,

I think Bright and ETChess was using more processors as well, other engines are just working well, except Rybka beta. How do i configure the engine to use 2, 4 processors etc?

I have seen the games also, I couldn't do anything other than just let it go. Engines don't use ponder on, I will see what happens in the rest of the division also.
I imagine that when an engine is MP, the number of processors must be configured in the ini file (rc, cfg, etc ) of the winboard engines and through the interface-gui in engines uci.

I do not know if any engine uses all processors and leaves no change. In the case of Toga there are different files for 1,2,4 and 8 CPUs

Thanks, I will check out for the Ini file before launching any tournament, however Rybka only comes with executable. Also How do i configure through Interface GUI in engine UCI?

Oh, yes you are right, I must have this confused with some other engine, Scorpio, maybe. Anyways, I'd like to know the list of engines with mp support, Do you have it?

Swami, is your Rybka beta the patched one that shows right number of plies and nodes per second? The patched Rybka is known with its time losses, I think Rajlich said something about that
take it easy :)

I think I downloaded it from superchessengine.com.

If you know of any reliable rybka beta, can you send me the link,I will download it again and run the tourney.

Thanks for this list. Also add Viper to it.
It seems the bug patch version was put in superchessengine.com

I will have to download it again from Rybka website and run the tourney with Rybka patched version replaced with the newer one.

Surprise super last by Rybka 1.0 beta.
I suppose Scorpio played without 5-piece egbbs.
With them, it should have scored much better.
Brights super first is also a surprise to me.

Best,
