Super Win for Telepath Charles
the Knight sac was exciting and totally unexpected by Rybka

i think your Engine is definitely rated higher then mid 2500's as you estimated

Rev-Rybka(2.2n8) just received a rating of 2653(40/2) from the SSDF
http://www.phoenixcs.nl/

you know that every time i lose one of these matches i get so upset with my dedicated that i throw it away
as a result of playing and losing all of these games against Telepath... Sadly ..i am now down to only one computer left in my collection:

What is the depth that rybka went into when it played 17...h6 and what is the time control

I have not revelation Rybka2.2 but my rybka2.2 does not generate this move.

Are you sure that Rybka is based on version 2.2?

time control was 2 minutes avg time per move
i do not remember the exact ply count at move 17 but Res Rybka displays an Average ply count of about 13 ply at this time control
pondering was ON
the exact version is 2.2n8 and it is the same exact version running on the same exact hardware that recently received an SSDF rating of 2653(40/2)
i do not know if Rybka is reporting the correct search depth information as there seems to be some controversy regarding this as we see from many threads here

2653 is clearly very weak for rybka2.2

Rybka1.2 on A1200 is 249 elo stronger

From the ssdf list:

11 Rybka 1.2 256MB Athlon 1200 MHz 2902 25 -24 893 71% 2747
37 Revelation Rybka 2.2 2653 69 -62 126 68% 2519

I guess that Revelation is a very weak hardware and I expect Rybka2.2 on P90 to perform better

P90 was the hardware that Chess Genius3 used in 1994 to beat kasparov
in 25 minutes per game.
