The Shredder GUI serves me just fine as a database.
Shredder demo downloads:

ChessPad and PosBase

http://www.wmlsoftware.com/index.html

I have been using ChessPad for handling small PGN files since years.
It is very useful for dealing with lightly annotated or unannotated
games, but has still problems with heavily commented games.

I once tried PosBase. It generated two times bigger data than
Scid 3.6.

ChessPartner 6.0:

Quote: "

Database

ChessPartner contains a powerful database capable of handling millions of games, you can search on player, opening, tournament and a date range. You can also read or write games in PGN format."

I havent tried database features of CP60.

I have documented staff members behaving unprofessionally, and diminishing services you paid money to use. You are better off looking to another company whose product does the job just as well and hold their customers in high regards.

This is really true. In the case of customer service, I would recommend Chess Assistant. They are more efficient in answering questions and helping their customers. I remember I bought Chess Assistant 8 and I had problems installing it. Convetka support told me to forget about it and sent me Chess Assistant 9 when it came out. Do you think Chessbase will do this for you? Must likely not. I have great respect for Convetka's commitment to its customers. Convetka support will answer your questions within hours, by the way.
