Tested a Gcc Compile. It does better.

Spark-0.3a-gcc32-mp
by Allard Siemelink, Holland.

Strategic Test Suite Conditions:
Arena GUI
10 seconds per position
800 positions
Core2Quad 32 bits, Q6600, 2 GB RAM, 2.4GHZ
Engine uses 139 Mb Hash.
Engine uses 2 Cores
Subject-wise Scores:
STS (v1.0) - Undermining:
89/100, Grade: S

STS (v2.1) - Open Files and Diagonals:
77/100, Grade: A

STS (v3.0) - Knight Outposts/Centralization/Repositioning:
82/100, Grade: A+

STS (v4.1) - Square Vacancy:
75/100, Grade: A

STS (v5.0) - Bishop vs Knight:
78/100, Grade: A

STS (v6.0) - Re-Capturing:
78/100, Grade: A

STS (v7.0) - Offer of Simplification:
71/100, Grade: A-

STS (v8.1) - Advancement of f/g/h Pawns:
68/100, Grade: B+
Overall Performance:
Total Score: 618/800

Which ever is faster on your PC you use it :) Pick a position and see the difference between the 2 GCC64 and VC64

Which ever is faster on your PC you use it :) Pick a position and see the difference between the 2 GCC64 and VC64
The GCC version seems to be faster, thanks :). (~2800kN/s vs ~3000kN/s)

The case with me is the reverse :D
vc64 does it much better

I'm using the GCC version.
Huh. Where you sure to set the 'Threads' option to 4 (Assuming you have a quad)? Because I think it is at 1 by default.

BTW Does Spark use Scorpio bitbases?
