Hm, it runs fine here, stronger than BBChess, but I compiled it for Linux here.

Really i wonder the strenght of latest Umko 0.4 engine,probably its SMP engine ?! e.g here is the standing of BBChess 1.3b x64 4CPU in SCCT2010:

No...Umko v0.4 does not run on my sytem

What is your hardware details (processor+operating system) ?

Everything works fine here... I think you should try that link
I am using i7 CPU 920@2.67GHz 4.00 GHz @ Windows Wista Ultimate X64
the 64 bits version works fine in Fritz Gui, haven't tried 32 bits...

The mine is:
Windows XP Professional x64 (service pack 2)

Your hardware is just same as mine,maybe you can test Umko (instead of me) for SCCT 2010 ? :)

The problem disappeared after restarting the pc
