That's completely true. But, before you _use_ that voting opportunity, you should at least make sure of who/what you are voting for. Otherwise you end up with the _same_ mess that we now have in the US after the last presidential election. Quite often "you get what you choose" but you'd better hope that what you choose is actually "what you wanted."

In my youth we also had people who wanted to vote for us pretending that they know better. As I see the current moderation team had nothing to say about the false acusations by Mr. Williamson towards me. It is till up there. So maybe my choice was wrong last time ?

I am hoping for a team to take action in such a case. I can see some people running who would take care.

independence/integrity

most impt of all freedom of expression

not represion of open discussion.

My last moderation term in this forum would have _never_ allowed the discussion

Try not to take this too personally. I read the thread, and it was one of the few "report post" clicks I have made. Actually, I think I picked one of Harvey's posts, but it doesn't matter. That entire tangent was off topic and should have been taken to PM or email, IMO.
