You are a do nothing mod. Others are not. That's just life.

Cheers,
Graham.
There's a lesson to be learned there, if you just think about it for a bit. Being "heavy-handed" does _not_ equate to "being a good moderator".
Correct. Just the same as doing nothing does not equate to being a good moderator.
You miss the point. First, I did not "do nothing" all the time. But that's not the point either. "doing nothing" is _far_ better than "doing too much."

Simple concept, actually. Most here are adults, not 8 year olds in 3rd grade. If you can't stand a heated discussion at times, the internet is the wrong place to look for entertainment.

Heated discussions don't require personal abuse (which is disallowed by the charter).
Anyway, we're getting off topic here. We could always carry this discussion on elsewhere.
The beauty of elections here is that the members can choose their moderators.

Cheers,
Graham.

I wasn't aware it had been moved. I was about to request it be moved to the main forum as it has nothing to do with clone discussions. This is about Junior's EULA, which just happens to mention the robbo family.
This seems to be the typical knee-jerk reaction when someone sees the string "robo" or "ipp"...
Well you can always blame me again, but unfortunately I was sleeping.
I blame "the moderators" since only they can perform this action. Place has turned into a lousy place to discuss anything of substance, however. Hopefully it will be fixed in a few months...
Blaming is all well and good, but 2 of the 3 CCC mods have no idea what happened here and we're trying to piece it together. I agree with you that moving posts around sucks, so please accept my apologies on behalf of whoever did this, and hopefully we'll get it worked out. In the meantime, we've replaced the thread to its correct location, and no one got hurt.

Jeremy
I haven't moved the thread either.

Maybe it's to do with original poster absent mindedly having posted it in wrong forum and claiming that it's moved?

Excuse me, but what does this public sniping have to do with the thread's subject?

Nope. Pretty sure I saw it in the general forum first. I specifically remember thinking "I wouldn't be surprised if this thread gets moved" and I don't think I would have thought that if it already was in Engine Origins. OTOH "absent minded" is not an entirely unfit description of my personality at times ...

We'll need to ask the administration to check into it. Anyway, let's get back on topic. Moderation discussions can be held in the Help and Suggestions forum.
